This property is typical of the Edwardian dwellings located in this area of Harrogate. When purchased by our clients, it largely retained its original layout, which was somewhat dysfunctional and did not reflect the needs of families today. In addition to this, the property was thermally inefficient, and the driveway divided the house from its extensive gardens. Our proposals have created a contemporary dwelling that reflects the Scandinavian background of our clients. The re-modelling brings light, airy spaces and open-plan living together with the Arts and Crafts character of the original house, creating a twenty-first-century home which remains rooted in its heritage.
