Sculptural Extension

Our clients approached us with a view to extending their Edwardian home, wishing to simultaneously make a bold design statement and create a space that had direct links to the extensive grounds. The brief presented an exciting design opportunity, and our response required to balance this with the constraints of working within a town centre Conservation Area. The contemporary design references the Edwardian architecture of the host dwelling in an abstract manner to create a sculptural form. Extensive glazing brings in light and gives views across the garden.
