Office pods

Rudding Estate, Follifoot

This series of office ‘pods’ was created to respond to the desire for smaller office spaces following the Covid 19 pandemic. Conceived to be highly energy efficient, they are heated by an air source heat pump while the building fabric offers a high level of thermal performance and air tightness. Cedar cladding and a sedum roof relate the building to its environment while large windows looking out to the fields beyond, and individual external sitting terraces promote a connection to the wider landscape and promote wellbeing.
